I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy, competitive ultramarathoner, and high school cross country and track coach. I built Stronger Stride because everyday runners deserve the same quality of guidance I give athletes in the clinic — without the generic advice to just stop running.

My approach is what I call the Goldilocks method: not too much, not too little, but the right training recipe for your individual body, your injury history, and your goals.

The answer to most running injuries isn't run more or stop completely. It's finding your individual recipe.

Why I started Stronger Stride

In the clinic, I see the same pattern over and over: runners get hurt, they see a provider who tells them to stop running entirely or push through pain. Neither approach addresses why they got injured in the first place.

The research on running — strength training, load management, recovery, nutrition — is rich and actionable. But it rarely reaches the runners who need it most. Stronger Stride bridges that gap.

What I believe

Running should be sustainable. You shouldn't have to choose between performance and staying healthy. Evidence should drive decisions — but evidence without context isn't useful. Every recommendation here is filtered through clinical experience and what actually works for real runners.
